Baby Jake Fundraiser!

We have received so much love from all of our friends and family over the past 7 months and we appreciate every thought and prayer for our family. Abbie Taylor has offered to put together an event to help raise money to help with Jake's medical costs and now funeral costs! We are so overwhelmed with gratitude with all the love and help that we have got from the community, friends and family!!! We want everyone to know that this event will be a chance to remember Jakey-boy, and a chance to have fun and laugh together as friends. We couldn't have gone through this without all of your support, kind messages on facebook, Jake's blog and phone calls. We would like to thank you all in person at a fundraiser in his name. Tickets are available if you would like to contact Abbie. Here is what she has posted online...

  1. I just want to say how sorry I am to hear of your sweet baby boy passing away! I have been silently following your blog since he was born and rooting for little Jake to get home to his family! I can't imagine the pain and heartache you guys are going through, but I know that you are also happy that he is relieved of pain here on Earth and is no longer suffering and fighting. My heart broke for you as I opened your blog and saw that he has passed on. I am so very sorry! My best friend of 25 yrs is an incredible nurse at Utah Valley ICU. Heather Harper. I know that he was watched over with so much love. My prayers are with you that you may be comforted and feel at peace.

  2. thanks Shana, Heather was one of our rocks through this experience. She has been a blessing in our lives and I hope to continue that friendship for many years to come. Thanks for following Jake's story! He was a miracle. And as test results come in from things he is proving more and more that he lived way longer than he ever should have. Thanks again!

She really is a sweetheart and would do ANYTHING for any of those babies and their families. I am so glad you were blessed by having her there for you! :) I know you will always be a part of her life.
